Bronchitis treated with Homeopathy

A child aged 4 years was brought to the consulting room with difficulty in breathing and severe congestion of the chest. The patient was feeling very hot .She didnt like to take any covers and is very restless. She feels much better after taking anything warm. She takes sips of water frequently. This was the acute picture of the patient.

She is the only child and is very much pampered by her grandparents. She is very close with her grandfather. If her friends talk with him she doesn’t like it. She becomes angry and will shout at them and will say she doesn’t like them. She is very obstinate by nature if she wants something she won’t listen to anybody. She becomes very happy when she gets what she wants.

If she is angry she will hit others but only at home. She is very outgoing and mixes very easily with people she has many friends. The observation that was made was there was lot of extra hair growth on the body. There were dark rings around the eyes. She likes to seek attention.

6/9/05 No complaints Continue the same treatment. For 14 days.

17/9/05 Patient feels better. At this time the patient was put on Placebo till the period of 26/6/06. We have repeated few doses of Medorrhinum about 10 doses. There has been no attack of bronchitis since we started the treatment. Overall improvement in the health and also there was decrease in the extra hair growth on the body. The attention seeking behavior and obstinacy has also reduced to a good extent.

Failure to thrive treated with Homeopathy

A two and a half years old girl was brought to our consulting room for the complaints of veery low appetite ,improper development in hieght and weight.The child weighed 9 kiligrams and the hieght was 80cms.The child has no other major health issues but this has become a cause of concern as nothing has seemed to work to improve the above complaints.

The child is a hyperactive child she cannot sit in one place even for a short period of time.if she wants something she wont compromise on it she will throw temper tantrums if she doesnt get what she wants.There are also breath holding spells during certains episodes and she turns blue (Cyanosis).She is very obstinate by nature.

When she is angry she will shout at the top of her voice she will throw things.If someone consoles her during this period she will feel much better .She is very poccessive about her things she wont give her things or share them with her friends or her elder sister.

She loves to dance and listen to music.she is an extrovert will mix easily with people .One of the other characteristics was that she was absolutely fearless there is no fear of anything.

In the family history the Father had a cleft palate and Chronic otitis media.Mother has no major illnesses.Grandmother (maternal ) passed away due to Cancer.Besides this there is no other information as far as the family history is concerned.

She was a unplanned child but the mother and father were very happy when they came to know about the same.There were no major tensions during the pregnancy.It was a Full term normal delivary.
